The retraction has been agreed due to plagiarism between this article and the following articles published in the European Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Biology; ‘The effects of metformin on insulin resistance, clomipheneinduced ovulation and pregnancy rates in women with polycystic ovary syndrome’ by Yılmaz Sahina, Unal Yirmibes, Fahrettin Kelestimurb and Ercan Aygena.
